The Embedded Systems Lab is a self paced, hands-on lab that will introduce you to designing with the SOPC Builder and the Nios II processor. The lab requires design files that you can download here and a low cost DE1 develpment board from Altera.

Step 1. Download Quartus II Web Edition and the Nios II Embedded Design Suite.
Step 2. Download the lab manual and design files.
Step 3. Get a low cost DE1 development kit from Altera. 
Step 4. Go through the lab and submit validation and feedback to embedded_lab@altera.com
